Private tutor in Anaheim, CA
I am a lifelong lover of learning new skills. Not only has this fostered my pursuit with my own education, but this love has also given me a drive to help others find success when it comes to learning. I believe that building a strong basis of understanding is extremely important when it comes to tutoring. Much like any physical structure, knowledge can collapse without an adequate foundation being placed first. While my main focuses are in writing, reading, and Chinese, I am available to tutor in religious studies, social sciences, English, and various areas involving history. I double majored in both Law & Society and Asian Studies, with a minor in Greek and Roman Classics while attending the University of California-Santa Barbara. I am also a former member of a non-profit organization designed to tutor elementary students in the Cypress, California area. My focuses while with this organization were in reading and mathematics. I currently reside in Anaheim, California. Professionally, my job is in the legal system. However, I can often be found volunteering at Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times here in California, where I am a camp counselor. When I'm not doing either of these, I can be found playing with my dog, reading a good book, practicing piano, exercising, and watching movies with my family.
