I am a graduate of the University of California, Riverside. There, I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Later, I attended Chapman University in Orange, California, where I received a Master of Arts in English and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing.I began tutoring for the "No Child Left Behind" program, where I tutored students from kindergarten through 8th grade in Language Arts and Reading. I worked with the students to teach them how to organize and improve their personal study habits. The goal was to help them improve their scores on standardized tests through one-on-one tutoring. Later, I worked at the writing center at Chapman, as an English tutor. I worked with students (both graduate and undergraduates) from a variety of majors, on their assignments. These assignments varied from long and short papers, resumes, personal statements, and theses.I tutor in English, Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Literature, Grammar, AP English Language and Composition, AP English Literature and Composition, and IB Extended Essay. In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing poetry and music, watching films, and publishing a literary zine.
